File downloaded successfully but will not install

 · Now in September and still cannot download updates. "Warning: No Updates Downloaded Successfully". I was able to go to the DELL Support Website and Install the "SupportAssist" Software and then run the "Detect" Drivers and Updates from the website and was able to install some Drivers from there for the card reader, graphics and chipset as well as a BIOS update.  · This can be caused by a patch taking a long time to install (which is may not actually be a failed install, but may still be in progress). It is also possible for a patch to get hung up if the machines resources are being heavily utilized, or if the patch has received incorrect silent switches.  · Steps to reproduce the issue. Begin installation of game/DLC. Go to livearea to wait for completion and installation. After waiting to install message, attempt to boot game and it doesnt add content. Obtained result: Data installs on the livearea, doesnt add content just downloaded. Expected result: Use pkgj to download files, start game up and play new content.

I've got a php page which handles requets for file downloads. I need to be able to detect when a file has been downloaded successfully. How can this be done? When I uninstalled thru control center, Abode reader went away. When I installed from you page, it went thru install but failed - tried 3 more time not luck. Can find file "Abode" file under Program Files (86), but won't open. Says I don't have access. That file does not show on "Programs" thru control panel. Steps to reproduce the issue. Expected result: Use pkgj to download files, start game up and play new content. #2. you could create a new folder in C:/Downloads, and direct the driver download there.. once it has finished downloading, it will appear in the folder (- usually with an icon to identify it), - you can run/open/install the software from there..
